FAQ's

1. How long does shipping take?

We typically ship orders within 2–3 business days from our shop in Rogers City, Michigan. You’ll get tracking info as soon as your goodies are on their way!

2. What if I don’t love what I ordered?

No worries—we want you to love what you choose, so if it is an item of clothing such as pj's, robes, etc., as long as the tags are still on, we are happy to exchange for a different size or refund your money. If it is beauty product such as skincare, lotions, etc., we are unable to return it if it has been opened and/or used.  However, we are happy to create a sample before hand so that you can try it out before you buy!

3. Are all of your products really clean and natural?

Yes! We know that in the USA, there is no definition on what exactly "clean" is, but our products are either organic or plant based, free from harmful chemicals such as phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, etc.  Even our makeup is either mineral based from nature or free from over 70 harmful chemicals that are traditionally found in makeup brands.  Rest assured, our products are made with plant-based, organic ingredients you can feel great about. See below the list of what we minimally state our products are free of:

Parabens, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Formaldehyde, Hydroquinone, Alcohol, Benzalkonium Chloride, Bisphenol A (BPA), Butoxyethanol, BHA & BHT, 1, 4 Dioxane, Ethanol Amine Compounds, 2-Methoxyanol, Mercury & Mercury Compounds, Mi or MIT and MCI & Kathano CG, and Resorcinol. In short our products are paraben free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, gluten free, alcohol free and cruelty free.

4. Why do you focus on women-owned brands?

We believe in lifting women up. After working in the corporate world for 27 years, our founder saw firsthand how amazing, capable, and innovative women are—and we’re proud to feature their incredible, small-batch products in our store. This ensures the freshest ingredients for you!

5. Where are the companies you buy from based?

Our core line of products (skincare, bath and body care, hair care, nail care, makeup and perfumes) are all made in the United States, predominantly from Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and California.

6. Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. All of our core line products are formulated with gentle, non-toxic ingredients and most are perfect for sensitive skin types. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!

7. Do you have gift sets or special occasion bundles?

We sure do! Whether you're shopping for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or just because, we offer beautiful gift options that are thoughtful, clean, and always appreciated. Just send us an email or give us a call, and we'll be happy to customize a gift basket for you.

8. Do you offer local pickup or in-store shopping?

Yes! If you’re near Rogers City, Michigan, stop by and shop with us in person! You can also select local pickup at checkout to skip shipping and grab your order at your convenience.

9. How do I know what scent is right for me?

Great question! We have a sample set from DefineMe Fragrances for $28 that gives you a sample of 7 fragrances from their butterfly collection. Try our scent quiz (coming soon!) or check out our product descriptions for note profiles. You can also email us—we love helping people find their perfect match!

10. Is Harborside Bath & Body on social media?

11. Do you offer special promotions throughout the year?

We do! Sign up for our email, and you'll receive exclusive deals that can be redeemed in store and online. Plus, you'll have all the tea on new products!

12. Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, normal free shipping is available for all orders above $75. We also offer expedited shipping for an additional cost. Please be advised that once our products leave with the carrier, the delivery date is out of our hands.
